Wake up. Brush teeth. Wash face. Internship meeting. Class. Yoga. Take pictures. Edit pictures. Class. Lunch. Internship meeting. Internship work. Edit podcast. Homework. Evening class. Dinner. More homework. Read. Pass out. That is what a typical Monday looks like for me. The rest of the week looks about the same. And I’m sure yours can look just as busy sometimes.
My dad would tell me that I would be a princess when I grew up, and although I knew that wasn’t true, I still took delight in entertaining the idea. I’m 20-years-old now, and in some ways, I suppose I did get my wish of becoming a princess– I just didn’t realize that that princess would be Rapunzel.
If I were richer and could afford to spend money on frivolous things, I would give each of my friends a mug that said “#1 best friend”. It takes a great load of skill and patience to match my wits and put up with my quirks, but they truly are a talented bunch.
It’s a Bird! It’s a Plane! It’s a… Frisbee? Ultimate frisbee has been the most unexpected and one of the best things to happen to me in college. Since the moment I joined, I’ve loved every minute of it.
